The Groovy Poncho by Canadian designer Susan Ashcroft is “a guide to how to make a poncho like this with lots of scope for customisation”. We picked a mix of Berroco’s Ultra Alpaca and Urth’s Uneek Worsted to make this poncho a real unique and exclusive treat.

Berroco Ultra Alpaca is the ideal balance of luxurious super fine alpaca and Peruvian Highland wool blended together and spun up perfectly round and light. There are 72 incredible shades chosen to resemble plant-dyed colours.

Urth Yarns is a family owned brand specialising in hand dyed natural yarns. Utilising innovative dying techniques, in combination with the skilled hands of women, Urth Yarns stands for sustainability and is dedicated to providing a "uneek" knitting experience. The Uneek yarn collection is composed of rich vibrant colours with an earthy feel, and exceptional softness in every skein! 100% Extrafine Merino.
